1. Who we are and our personal journey to SKINOREA
Welcome to SKINOREA, the home of quality Korean skincare products sourced directly from Korea and distributed from Paris, France to customers all over Europe! We are a company founded by two friends, Nivine and Nahla, who share a passion for Korean skincare and a deep desire to help others achieve healthy, radiant skin.
After years of working in the corporate world, we decided to take a leap of faith and pursue our dreams.
As an International Project Manager and Chemical Engineer respectively, our career paths led us to discover and appreciate the world of Korean skincare as we travelled and explored different cultures. Our fascination with the innovation and efficacy of skincare products from Korea was reinforced during our first visit to this beautiful country in 2017.
Nivine, who has sensitive and delicate skin, quickly discovered that Korean skincare products were incredibly gentle and suited to her skin. This discovery was a revelation for her, as she finally found products that didn't cause skin allergies. For her part, Nahla, who has long struggled with skin problems such as acne and hyperpigmentation, also found products that were specially formulated to address her concerns. It was then that we discovered how difficult it was to find these products in France, which inspired us to extend their availability to the whole of Europe. This is the story of the birth of Skinorea: a company born of the aspiration to make Korean skincare within everyone's reach.
